- Use the quiz section as a focus for discussion about the various sub-contexts for using fractions, such as height, number of eggs and area.
- Emphasise the importance of making equal parts whenever representing fractions.
The set of activities in the learning object L155 Cassowary fractions uses the context of a sanctuary for cassowaries. It requires holding pens to be constructed by selecting shapes and dividing them into equal parts.
