Activity 1: The perfect prawn
In this activity students need to make a decision about a supplier of prawns for a restaurant they own in partnership. They use their knowledge of statistics to select from two different prawn farms. It is possible for the whole class to use the same set of data or different sets of data to be generated for each group. As an added complication the data from a third farm is provided by one of the partners and students use this to review and refine their recommendations.
